Film inspired by true events. Roman Jacenko (played by Jerzy Kozakiewicz), a small village local photographer, lives in a shabby garret, which serves also as his lab and studio. He loves Beata, nice clerk in a nearby bank. Having often observed established procedures of money transport to and from the bank, and having received some information unawarely revealed by Beata, he decided to rob the car with cash. To make an alibi he recorded sounds of footsteps, whistling and typical lab actions, turned the tape player on while going out to rob, and locked the room door. In a camouflage of a road crash survivor (face covered with bandage), he stopped the car with money, shot dead the security guards and badly wounded Beata. The bag with robbed money was temporarily hidden in a waste dump. He's shocked and surprised when police officer soon knocked at his door... explaining that the police's staff photographer was ill and asking him to make photographs of the crime scene. That looked for him as opportunity to obliterate the traces of the crime and create false evidence...

On the same day, two women, Anna from Poland and Maria from Germany, give birth to sons in a hospital in Gdańsk. Eight years pass, and there is no indication that their paths will ever cross. However, one day, Anna's son Tomek has an accident. When his father wants to donate blood for him, tests show that Tomek is not his son. This news comes as a shock. Anna, accused of infidelity, tries to prove her innocence. She begins to suspect that eight years ago, in a hospital in Gdańsk, someone may have mixed up the babies. She decides to find Maria and her son to dispel or confirm her suspicions...

Anna is a teacher and her husband Marek is an engineer. They both face moral dilemmas at work: Marek's boss wants him to help get rid of a renowned engineer from their company; Anna refuses to support the false accusation of her student.

Upon a visit to UVM's Lane Series in the Spring of 2022, Jean-Francois Alcolea offered to conduct a workshop to UVM film students and others on his piece, "Right in the Eye". A group of students from FTS 141 Video Production, teamed up to document the day and Jean-Francios' magical performance. They all left with a smile.

In the mid 1970s a group of young men leave the Connemara Gaeltacht, bound for London and filled with ambition for a better life. After thirty years, they meet again at the funeral of their youngest friend, Jackie. The film intersperses flashbacks of a lost youth in Ireland with the harsh realities of modern life. For some the thirty years has been hard, working in building sites across Britain. Slowly the truth about Jackie's death become clear and the friends discover they need each other more than ever.
